Chris Cargen, CEO of Hospitality America, Inc., a hotel management company based out of Nashville, Tennessee, with executive offices in Greenville, SC announces the promotion of David Berger to the position of Chief Operating Officer. David has served as Vice President of Operations of the company for the last five years. “David has invigorated Hospitality America’s culture and has successfully protected and increased the value of our assets for ownership,” says Cargen.
David has spent his entire career in the lodging business, since graduating with a Bachelors of Administration from Lynn University’s Hospitality Program in 1997. He was first appointed as a hotel general manager at 23 years old, while with Prime Hospitality. Throughout his career, he has worked with prominent hotel management companies, including Turnberry Associates, Thayer Lodging and Prime Hospitality. David’s experience includes pre-development, hotel openings, hotel brand conversions, food and beverage operations as well as overall management of focused and full service properties.
He will continue to be based out of the Greenville, SC office of Hospitality America located at 1425 Augusta Street, Greenville, SC 29605
